How to Install imposm software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

imposm software package provides importer for OpenStreetMap data, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install imposm

imposm is installed in your system.

Make ensure the imposm package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep imposm *

You will get with imposm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
